Thanks to my Indian husband, I was first introduced to delicious Indian food, and later to his homeland, India. This huge and ancient sub-continent is a land of wonders where the most modern way of life exists side-by-side with ancient ways, To travel and live in India made me feel as if I had come to another world–a world of wonders.
I was enchanted with the people, history, places, Gods and Goddesses, and the magnificent forts, palaces, temples, sculpture, paintings, textiles and other arts.
Over the years, every time we fly to India, I take my watercolor paints and work wherever we are–whether at home, with family or at a hotel, I paint the scenes. I find my subjects in the scenery, architecture, interiors, people and daily life.
